                                                            Culture   In Software Engineering at university  of Kelaniya GNCT course we did small activity in our lecture.  We had to do is a create a our own culture. That means we must have our own language, Our own traditions, Our own country, National Anthem, Songs, Dances and Activities. First we were divided in to two groups and one group has 10 members. All we had to do is perform a small act using our new created culture. That means we had to act a small activity, Sing National anthem using language that we created,and sing a song and dance.                                                  Lava River                                On 25th October 2018, for our PPD session we had an interesting activity to do.That is lava river.Initially madam divided the students to 4 groups. Then she described what we have to do in lava river activity.      That was just like a game. We have to cross the larva river with 4 stones. Larva river was from one corner of our class room to the other corner. We had to use 4 cardboard circles as stones. All the team members should have to cross the river. We learned lots of things from the session like different types of leaders, their qualities and how an actual leader should act. We learned leadership qualities that we should improve in our lives and some life stories of true leaders who live and who had lived in the world, which made the session more interesting, Miss. Sarasi Senadheera even started the lecture by teaching the fact that how all of us are born leaders taking the example of a sperm which meets the ova by defeating millions of its peers.                                     Stand On Paper               On 8th November for our PPD session we had to do an interesting activity named "Stand on the paper".Madam divided us to 4 groups each having 8 members.  Madam instructed us to do the task.The task was to stand on a sheet of newspaper. All the team members should stand on the paper.                                                   Bata Puzzle                  On 4th October 2018,for our PPD session madam divided us to 4 groups. Then she called 2 members from each team. Then she gave them a board with a picture. They have to cut their boards into 95 pieces and put those pieces in to the cover. When all the four teams finished that task madam took 10 pieces from each team and mix them. After than again she put 10 random pieces to each team.              Then cover of pieces given to teams. Round Robin On 19 th  of June 2018, for our GNCT course our madam gave us an interesting activity. That’s just like a game. First she said us to close our eyes. Then when she tapped on the table, a marker pen shared among our friends. When she again tapped the person who received the marker pen at that time came to the board and write some words. The Bingo Game On 5th June for our GNCT course unit we have done a BINGO game. That’s so much interesting and enjoyable game. We had never done that game before. So when the madam gave us a paper for that we all surprised. It consist of 25 general questions. The challenge was to ask the questions in the same horizontal line, vertical line, and diagonal line or around the middle rectangle. Here is a picture of that BINGO game sheet. That is my BINGO sheet. Fortunately I have make a bingo within the give time period. There were some questions that are not easy to find an answer. As an example; there were very few number of students who traveled overseas. We learned so many things from this activity. As we are freshers to the university it was a chance to be friendly with my colleagues. We found there interesting fields, dislike things etc. We faced some problems when collecting data. There were some fake answers also. This is an interesting activity.

Paper Tower Participants- SE 2016/2017 Students Place- B11 212                                     We got a task make a tower by using A4 sheets. Our SE batch divide three groups to do the task. I selected A group to do this task. My group members are mihindu, naveen, powsikan, zeena, kirushanthi, dinidu, asiri, nantiny and hashika. We got six A4 color sheets to make tower. We got three white A4 sheets, two light green A4 sheets and a light blue A4 sheet.                 We had 50 min to make this tower. First we selected a team leader. Our team leader is mihindu.
